We are pleased to announce that this February and March, we are teaming up with Jackdaws Music Education Trust to present a series of workshops for schools in Somerset as part of their The Year of… series.
Begun in 2013, The Year of… series brings international musicians or ensembles to Somerset to work with children in the county to nature their passion and enjoyment of music. Last year the series was voted Best Classical Music Education Initiative in the Music Teacher Awards for Excellence and previous artists have included the Carducci String Quartet, Joby Burgess and the Gelachter Trio.
We are honoured to have been chosen for this award winning project, especially in our 25th year, and can’t wait to bring the Onyx brand to the schools of Somerset over the coming months.
