At the end of last week, we spent the two days being looked after by the Royal College of Music for our third collaboration with conductor, John Wilson, and fourth with Chandos Records . Our new recording will have music for quintet to large brass ensemble with piano and will contain a mixture of British and American originals and transcriptions including premiere recordings of two Benjamin Britten pieces, it promises something for brass music lovers everywhere!
Alongside the Britten pieces it will feature music by Arnold, Price, Walton, Adams, Vaughan Williams, Horovitz and Langford. Also so pleased that good friend, pianist Viv Maclean, was able to join us as well as a galaxy of other brass superstars!
