November 5th sees Onyx join forces with the Exeter Philharmonic Choir to present a evening of works featuring the forces of brass, percussion, organ, and choir. The concert in Exeter Cathedral was originally planned as a celebration of Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, but now as a thanksgiving for her long and glorious reign. It will be conducted by good friend of the group, Howard Ionescu and repertoire will include Parry’s I Was Glad, Vaughan William’s O Clap your Hands, and expand to finish with Rutter’s scintillating Gloria.
