Today (18th Feb) we are pleased to announce that alongside Irish composer and writer, Ailís Ní Ríain, we have been chosen to appear in the New Music Biennial Celebrations of 2025. The free, ticketed festival will take place on 6-8 June in Bradford as part of their 2025 UK City of Culture, and 4-6 July at the Southbank Centre in London. Read the full press release here.
Our collaboration with Ailís, that is one of the 20 new projects commissioned, is called Holocene, an evocative and unconventional work for community brass, and bowed cymbals, weaving raw and intricate soundscapes that push the boundaries of contemporary brass music.
