March 22nd & 23rd March has us visiting the Alma Mater of many of us in Onyx, the Royal Academy of Music, where we will be spending 2 days working with the students side by side in preparation for a concert on 23rd. The evening will include the Strauss Motets from Festmusik and Tim Jackson’s Triple Brass Quintet, Three Worlds.
To add to this and because this all forms part of our 30th birthday celebrations we will also be performing world premieres of Onyx by Errollyn Wallen and Music for my Stolen Breath by Yshani Perinpanayagam and hot on the heels of its premiere 2 days earlier, Mark-Anthony Turnage’s Onyx 30.
In what promises to be an exciting evening of brass music large and small, one can reserve tickets to this free event by following this link.
